Camden Yards is right in downtown Baltimore and opened in 1992. The historic B&O Warehouse behind right field is one of the stadium’s defining features.

Walk along Eutaw Street and take in the view of the warehouse before settling in for the game.

Best time

Go for an evening game if you can — the atmosphere as the sun goes down over Baltimore is fantastic.

Watch out

Give yourself plenty of time to get through the gates and find your seat, especially for a busy game.

What surprised me

How much the surrounding city becomes part of the experience — it’s not an isolated stadium.

Would I go back?

Absolutely. I’d happily watch another game here.
