Spent the day exploring Springbrook and ended up stopping at a few different lookouts and walks. It was a nice change from the beaches and city — proper rainforest, waterfalls and some ridiculous views. One of those days where I was glad we decided to get in the car and just see what was around. 🌿

Worth knowing
Springbrook is much bigger than it looks on a map, so give yourself plenty of time rather than trying to squeeze everything into a couple of hours.
Don't miss
The Natural Bridge. The walk down through the rainforest and the cave itself are easily one of the highlights.

Would I go back?
Yeah, definitely. I’d like to go back with more time and explore some of the longer walks.
Watch out
Some of the roads are pretty winding and the weather can change quickly up in the mountains. Take it a bit slower than you normally would.
What surprised me
How different it felt from the Gold Coast. You can go from beaches and skyscrapers to dense rainforest surprisingly quickly.
