Standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial looking straight down towards the Washington Monument. One of those views you’ve seen countless times in photos, but it hits differently when you’re actually standing there.

I knew Washington was warm but the humidity makes for tough work if you’re walking all day!

The Lincoln Memorial, Reflecting Pool and Washington Monument all sit along the National Mall, so they’re easy to experience together on foot.
