Winter walk in Central Park

Decided to spend a perfect morning in Central Park instead of rushing from landmark to landmark. It was sooo cold but perfect weather for hot chocolate and a great chance to take in the sights ☕️

If you manage to catch a glimpse of the New York Central Park Rangers, that’s really cool! Also reminded me of Elf.
Best time
Definitely early morning, the air is fresh, it’s quieter and New York is just waking up.
Watch out
New York is FREEZING this time of year. Be prepared to wear layers, gloves, warm socks etc.
Would I go back?
Absolutely, especially during Christmas but would like to see it during the height of summer
What surprised me
Just how big Central Park is! You could get lost in it for days if you wanted to explore every corner.
